About the owner and founder
My name is Caitlin, I’m the owner and founder of The Woven Womb. I've been married for 8 years, with my own 4 incredible children—3 daughters and 1 son. I’m a veteran, runner, weightlifter, and you could lure me anywhere with free plants. I named my business after the scripture in Psalm 139:13-14; being woven together in our mother’s womb, wonderfully made with a purpose, for a purpose.
Praying God’s will over my calling has been a huge step for me as I continue to move forward chasing my professional goals while supporting and nurturing mothers during one of the most memorable moments of their lives. I’ve supported families for over 2 years, attended over 20 births, supporting 100+ hours, ranging from in-hospital, out-of-hospital, cesareans, inductions, medicated, and unmedicated vaginal births.
Being a doula helps me to be able to see birth variations and support women to my fullest potential, whether it’s a birth center, hospital, or home-birth setting. I’ve guided many families through their pregnancies, births, deliveries, and tender postpartum moments. I’m grateful to have these experiences and pray it serves me well in my future career.
As your doula, I want to help you feel fully seen, heard, and confident in your body during birth. I come alongside your family, ensuring you are educated, respected, safe, and supported during every stage of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I will address all your questions, concerns, and fears along the way. I’ll walk with you toward a birth experience rooted in strength, confidence, wisdom, safety, and trust.
