About the owner and doula

My goal is to ensure your birth is surrounded by love, guided by informed consent, and rooted in respect for your autonomy and wishes, regardless of how your journey unfolds.

My name is Caitlin, I’m the owner and doula behind The Woven Womb. I've been married for 8 years, with my own 4 incredible children. I’m a veteran, runner, weightlifter, hiker, and gardener. I named my business after the scripture in Psalm 139:13-14; being woven together in our mother’s womb, wonderfully made with a purpose, for a purpose.

I’ve been blessed to support families for over 3 years, attend over 20 births, and provide over 300+ hours of doula support. I’ve guided many families through their pregnancies, births, deliveries, and tender postpartum moments. The experiences I’ve shared with families have been the most meaningful and rewarding parts of my work. I am deeply grateful for each one.

As your doula, I want to help you feel fully confident in your body during birth. I come alongside your family, ensuring you are educated, respected, and supported during every stage of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

If you aren’t sure whether we would be a good fit, I offer a free 30-minute interview at a mutual location of your choice. It’s important that whoever is involved in your birth feels comfortable, and we can all work together collectively. Feeling safe with your support team is necessary for a positive, progressive, meaningful experience.

Client Testimonials

“We had the pleasure of meeting Doula Caitlin the day we went into labor. I can’t imagine our 4th birth experience without her. From the moment we contacted her she was incredibly responsive and supportive. When Caitlin joined us at our house, her presence immediately put everyone at ease- family and even our dogs! It’s clear she has a natural way of connecting with everyone and loves what she does. Throughout the 16 hour labor, Caitlin was an unwavering source of support, guidance, and encouragement. She helped me stay focused and relaxed when I needed it most. If you’re looking for a Doula who will support you in the most genuine way possible, we highly recommend Caitlin. She was a true blessing for us and we are so thankful for her. Thank you Caitlin for being such an important part of our journey!”

“Caitlin is an amazing and caring doula! While we weren't acquainted prior to me giving birth, she came into our lives just when we needed her most. After a phone discussion, we were able to meet in person. She came to our house and truly took the time to understand where and how we needed help. She held space for us to share our birth story and supported us through the conversation. Caitlin has a wealth of knowledge and was able to assist us with some feeding issues and offered suggestions for sleeping/napping for our little one. I highly recommend reaching out to see how she can help you and your family!”

— Cassidy D., Postpartum Support

“We have had the pleasure of working with Caitlin for the birth of our third. She offered personalized support for any of our needs before during and after our birth. She was someone we didn’t know we needed and wish we could’ve had with our other two children. She helped us stay calm and was with us every step of the way, from the start of the contractions, to arriving at the hospital, delivering baby girl and even sacrificing her sleep on Thanksgiving to be there for us. Caitlin also recommended positions and things to try to encourage labor. She had tools on hand to help counteract contractions such as a rebozo, combs, a fan and more. She was amazing from start to finish every step of the way. Highly recommend Caitlin for your physical, emotional and informational support."
