Support Services

Labor + Birth Support

Labor + Birth Support includes phone and text support, 3 prenatal visits, birth planning assistance, birth support for you and your partner, postpartum visits, lactation counseling, and so much more!

What’s included in this package: labor + birthing support to include birth planning, physical, mental, spousal, and emotional support to the client’s family, 1 postpartum visit up to 7 days after delivery, 1 lactation visit at the postpartum visit following delivery, or as requested.

The option to use my Postpartum and Lactation Support are available as single services. Insurance options are available.

Postpartum Support

Bringing your new baby home can be both exhilarating and intimidating. With postpartum doula support, you will have hands-on physical or emotional support in the comfort of your own home.

What’s included in this package: recovery support, breastfeeding and pumping education, in-home newborn assistance or help with siblings, grocery trips, and hands-on help with tasks (meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, etc).

The option to use my Postpartum Support is available as a single service. There is a minimum of 2 hours for this service.

Lactation Counseling

$30.00/hr

After delivery, I’ll help educate and hold space for you through all the common barriers to breastfeeding, pumping, and ensuring your questions are met with clear, supportive guidance.

What’s included in this package: feeding positions, pumping concerns & techniques (fitting a breast pump, etc.), breastfeeding concerns (engorgement, cracked nipple, low supply), partner support, latch assistance, recognizing hunger cues, and herbal or diet options to increase milk production.

  • Some insurances cover up to 6 visits for lactation services with doulas, IBCLCs, & CLCs.

The option to use my Lactation Support is available as a single service. There is a minimum of 2 hours for this service. Insurance options are available.

Childbirth Education

$150.00/per family

Childbirth education provides evidence based knowledge about pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and newborn stages. This class would be fit for you if: you are looking to have a more positive, informed delivery and reduce anxiety about your birth experience.

What’s included in this package: pregnancy (lifestyle modifications, high-risk conditions, diet, all 3 trimesters, etc), engaging partner support (early, active, transitional, delivery & postpartum), newborn care, stages of labor (early, active, transitional, delivery, expulsion of placenta), creating a birth plan, pain management options, c-sections & healing, postpartum care & recovery, informed consent, all interventions, induction methods, coping mechanisms, comfort techniques, how to train your body for birth…. and so much more!

My classes are offered as private in-home sessions, virtual, or in-person (with or without a group). I offer complementary pediatric CPR with in-person or in-home classes through the American Heart Association.

After Hours Doula Support

$50.00/hr

I recognize the importance of having a reliable, trustworthy, and nurturing community to support you after the birth of your newborn. This service is similar to a postpartum and overnight postpartum doula combined.

What’s included in this package: overnight newborn support (in-hospital after delivery, in-home, etc.), daytime assistance with a newborn, or for siblings, assistance with the majority of household chores (laundry, dishes, vacuuming, cooking, etc.), or lack of immediate family for postpartum support

This service is based on an hourly rate and not covered by insurance. Please provide dates and times of when you are requesting assistance.

Birth Planning Assistance

$25.00/hr

Birth planning assistance is for families who want a solid birth plan without hiring additional support person(s). I will give you access to my birth wishes templates that do cover hospital, home births, and birth centers.

We will briefly cover topics such as: common induction methods, pain management options (pharmacological & non-pharmacological), laboring techniques, creating a plan for your partner to support you in early, active, transitional labor, delivery, and early postpartum, along with your ideal laboring environment.

My birth planning sessions are scheduled no more than twice a month and are expected to be 3 hours or less. I ask that if you do have additional questions, they are limited to no more than 6 per person, not to exceed 3 people with questions per session. Additional sessions may be required, depending on the circumstances, to complete the birth wishes.

BLS for Healthcare Providers

$7.00/per certification

Basic Life Support is important for in-hospital and out-of-hospital emergencies that arise. BLS certifications expire every two years, and it’s the provider’s responsibility to stay up-to-date with renewing their card. My classes are no more than 2-hours, with the goal to keep it within 1-hour of your time.

Curriculum for BLS: the key focus points are mental health crises (2025 update), updated pediatric compressions technique (2025 update), rescue breaths, rescue medications, compression rates, company protocols, airway management, recognizing emergencies, and teamwork.

My classes are offered as private in-home sessions or in-person with a group. I’m an instructor for the American Heart Association through EMS Region III in Clovis. All my classes will be based on the fees and curriculum of AHA.

CPR, First Aid, AED

$20.00/per certification

CPR is a vital life-saving training for out-of-hospital cardiac emergencies. CPR certifications expire every 2 years, and it’s the employee’s responsibility to stay up-to-date with renewing their card. My classes are roughly 4 hours, not to exceed that time limit.

Curriculum for CPR: rates of compressions for adults, children, and infants, compression techniques, using an AED, introduction to antagonist opioid medication, doses, proper application, recognizing emergencies, choking techniques, drowning protocols, ABC’s, recognizing cardiac arrest, and respiratory arrest.

My classes are offered as private in-home sessions or in-person with a group. I’m an instructor for the American Heart Association through EMS Region III in Clovis. All my classes will be based on the fees and curriculum of AHA.

Interview with Caitlin

30 minutes free

At a mutual location of your choice, we can get together and talk about what support you need, what type of birth you are interested in (hospital, birth center, home birth, elective c-section), and your birth goals. I offer in-person or virtual interviews for birth and postpartum services.

What’s covered in the interview: previous pregnancies, pregnancy complications, questions about my role as a doula, how I can assist partners, postpartum support, what type of birth support you are looking for, place of delivery, who else will be involved in your birth (kids, spouse, mom, etc), type of birth you are planning for (VBAC, vaginal, c-section, induction), is your provider or midwife supportive of doulas, how long I have been a doula, why I became a doula, and any other questions you feel are relevant to discuss.
